Notwerk is a distributed monitoring service that tracks
the state of network connectivity towards your servers
from across the Internet.
It is concerned with monitoring network routes rather
than servers, and it tracks low-level networking metrics such as
packet loss, latency and jitter.
Think of it as an always-on distributed traceroute with
reporting and alerting - a monitoring tool for IT
and an in-depth troubleshooting tool for the tech support.
Currently in development, Notwerk is based in Canada
and founded by Alex Pankratov,
formerly the principal person behind Hamachi, the
peer-to-peer VPN service.
If Notwerk sounds interesting, subscribe to the project updates and be the first to test-drive the beta when it goes live.
